During the 50th anniversary of the Indonesian Phytopathology Association (PFI), I was honored to receive the Budi Tjahjono Award for the Outstanding Young Researcher of PFI Category. This prestigious award, established by Dr. Ir. Budi Tjahjono, M.Agr., is dedicated to supporting young researchers within the PFI to advance their studies, research, or publication efforts. The selection criteria were comprehensive, focusing on the number of publications in national and international journals, academic achievements, books authored, and patents acquired over the last five years.

The selection process, which commenced on July 24, 2020, saw participation from young researchers across Indonesia, representing institutions such as the Bogor Agricultural Institute, Gadjah Mada University, Syiah Kuala University, the Ministry of Agriculture's Research Division, Mahasaraswati University, Sinarmas Forestry, among others. I was privileged to be chosen as one of the six distinguished young researchers to receive this accolade, a recognition that underscores my commitment and contributions to the field of phytopathology.
