During the 50th anniversary of the Indonesian Phytopathology Association (PFI), I received the Budi Tjahjono Award for Outstanding Young Researcher. This award supports the ongoing research and publication efforts of young scientists in the field. The committee evaluated candidates based on their five-year track record of journal publications, academic achievements, authored books, and patents. The selection process included highly competitive peers from institutions such as IPB University, Gadjah Mada University, and Sinarmas Forestry. I was deeply honored to be chosen as one of the six recipients across Indonesia, a recognition that reflects my commitment to advancing phytopathology.
